Looking for places in Ostrava where your little ones are not only allowed but truly welcome? The project Fajna rodina (Good Family) is here to help. It maps out spaces around the city that are genuinely family-friendly – whether you are visiting with a stroller, toddler, or both.

Many parents know the struggle: trying to enjoy a café or museum while managing diapers, restless kids, or the lack of child facilities. That’s exactly why the Family-Friendly Places project was created – to make it easier for families to find cafes, playgrounds, cultural institutions, and community centres that are designed with children and parents in mind.

What makes a place family-friendly? At least a few of the following:
